Snakeskin Tanning Kit - Tans snakes skins into real leather. Contains all the necessary ingredients for descaling and tanning snakeskins into durable, fully tanned leather that's strong, soft, plump and sewable. Snake markings remain intact. NO bleach involved! Salt and White Vinegar are the only two ingredients not included. These items are easily bought at a local store. Do not use Kosher or Rock salt - Non-Iodized Salt is best. Unlike other methods that use Alum, Alchol or Glycerine, TASCO/Rittel's Snakeskin Kit produces a leather suitable for crafts and eatherwork.
Tanning capacity: 1.5 lbs. of skin - enough for 2 rattlesnake skins.
